That's disappointing because I've heard of this Jimmy Garcia whom you mention and have been meaning to familiarize myself with his work. Is there someone else you could possibly recommend who might offer a more focused product? I've read wonderful things about a group called Fred Waring and his Young Pennsylvanians. Would you happen to know if there are there any good soundboards of them here in the Archiche?

Did you know that Waring was the inventor of the Waring Blender and is also the subject of a famous Tax case which, I think, involves Capital Gains tax treatment (if I remember-- I dont have time to look it up today)?

I am aware of the blender connection.

I considered coming up with something to rival my absurd non-sequiter that pushed things in this irrelevant direction, but I've already sent my own thread into the dumpster.

Whitman was a genius.

If he weren't, would you have posted a reply saying he was straight?

Only if gay people naturally procreated and being straight was a biological abnormality. Do you have a problem with gay poets?

As Walt said:

Go on, my dear Americans, whip your horses to the utmost—Excitement; money! politics!—open all your valves and let her go—going, whirl with the rest—you will soon get under such momentum you can't stop if you would. Only make provision betimes, old States and new States, for several thousand insane asylums. You are in a fair way to create a nation of lunatics.
